We need to start installing the cabinet locks, as she's figured out how to open drawers and kitchen cabinets, so that's on the agenda for tomorrow. Her new favorite thing is to escape the living room, crawl into her bedroom, and shut the door. She's acting like a teenager, already!
We started a new daycare, last week. Despite having been ecstatic about finding our last one, she still didn't have any children other than Aliz, and we weren't sure if she would be able to continue her daycare without other children. We got a call-back from a wonderful in-home daycare that we had put our names on a waiting list for (a long time ago) and is much closer to us. The owner seems wonderful, and the kids there seems to really enjoy Aliz. They all seem very well-behaved and I know Aliz will see great benefits in having the other children to watch and play with. I can only hope they will love her as much as Lori did! We will miss her a lot.
